Mr. Gerard Cullen
Mr. Cullen qualified as a solicitor in 2001, and transferred to the Bar in 2010. He is a member of Middle Temple Inn, with his primary specialism being in criminal defence work. He is also able to offer advice and representation in mental health law, regulatory law and civil law.
Mr. Cullen until recently was the managing director of one of the longest established criminal solicitors practices in the West Midlands and had, over the last 20 years, developed and expanded that practice. In doing so, Mr. Cullen has been able to develop exceptional expertise in his chosen practice areas and has an excellent reputation amongst his contemporaries.
He began his career in criminal practice with former well-known practice of Parker and Grego Solicitors. He then went on to form his own practice of Morgan Cullen & Ball Limited Solicitors having then taken over his former employer, Parker and Grego, as well as John Morgan Solicitors, another renowned Birmingham practice.
Mr. Cullen now practices as a sole practitioner barrister in his chosen practice areas.
Mr. Cullen is accredited as a member of the Law Society's Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme, is a member of the Law Society Mental Health Law Panel, is authorised by the Bar Standards Board to undertake Public Access work and he is further authorised by the Bar Standards Board to undertake litigation.
